About Indus

Indus has been one of Bangkok’s best loved Indian restaurants since 2005, tucked into a beautifully kept 1960s art deco house off Sukhumvit Soi 26. The kitchen cooks across the north of the subcontinent, Punjab, Kashmir, Goa, and Rajasthan, with dishes adapted to suit the table rather than win a spice contest.

It is a proper sit-down dinner sort of place, warm and a little grand, the kind of room that works for a date night, a family celebration, or feeding visiting grandparents who want a real meal. The menu is certified Halal across both meat and vegetarian dishes, so most groups can order freely.
