About Jharokha by Indus
Jharokha is the newer, more theatrical sister to Indus, on the second floor of Erawan Bangkok on Ploenchit Road. The name means window, and the room runs with the idea, all arches, deep blues, and a long bar, drawing on the polo heritage of Rajasthan.
The cooking leans into live fire, with dishes coming off a firepit and a kopa oven that give the food a gentle smokiness a standard kitchen cannot. It is dressier than a weeknight curry run, good for a celebration, a long mall lunch, or dinner before a film.
